I'm Zohir Hakmi. Twenty, Algerian, a computer-science student at the Higher School of Computer Science & Technology (ESTIN). This site is where I keep the long-form notes from my work in low-level security and the engineering I'm growing into next.

Focus

Reverse engineering and malware analysis, with a Windows-internals habit: unpacking, debugger work, config extraction, and the kind of static reading that recovers a binary's contract. CTF the rest of the time. Every chain worth keeping ends up here as a writeup.

Background

Cybersecurity major at ESTIN. Manager of the Nexus CyberSecurity Club; community organizing and technical work in the regional cybersecurity scene. Comfortable across stacks: backends in Django, low-level code in C/C++, Python as a daily driver.

Stack

  • os linux windows
  • languages python c c++ rust javascript
  • reverse ida ghidra windbg x64dbg gdb
  • tooling vim bash git docker tmux ssh jq curl
